The Saying goes “you can tell a lot about a person by the car they drive” so since this is my first post I figured I would post all the car’s I have owned to sort of introduce myself to the Oppo community.
in order of appearance:
- 1985 Chevrolet Chevette CS 2dr Auto
-1999 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor Auto
-1993 Honda Civic Si Coupe Manual (if you are between 25-30 you went thru that stage too so you cant judge me)
-1991 Toyota Soarer Twin Turbo Auto
-1991 Nissan Fairlady 2+2 Twin Turbo Manual
-2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Mega Cab SXT RWD Auto
-2009 Dodge Caliber SXT 1.8L Manual (Don’t ask I’m still asking myself why)

-1991 Toyota Corrola with a rusted out sunroof and a sweet ghetto blasting subwoofer complete with blown out speakers. . .
-1995/6 Saturn SC coupe - 5 speed - only lasted about a month before the car leaked/burned enough oil to seize the motor.
-1996 Plymouth Voyager - I loved that thing, I never had the back seats in so I kept a bunch of pillows and blankets in back and took naps at lunch time/had a sweet shaggin wagon. . .
2007 Ford Focus ZX3 - 5 speed - My first new car and I got to put 106632 miles on it before it was killed by the wrath of good brakes and crap tires on damp SoCal streets that are no better than ice when there is just a little bit of water on the road. I also got to humiliate much better cars with the way I could drive that car.
1999 Mazda Miata - 5 speed - I'm almost at a year of owning this car and I still like driving it.

I guess I had the bigger V6 in mine and I never really ever wanted more power from it since it was really more than enough. Plus for a damn van it got great mileage, I still am impressed that I got about 25 MPG out of that van. It was very impressive to tell the truth, much utility and easy driving and you could camp out where ever you wanted.

I was listening to the official's radio at the time, while waiting at the start of the Marystown stage. I heard this when I turned it on:
"Yeah, we're going to need to get a boat over here to tie to it, it keeps floating away..."
We still didn't know what exactly had happened at this point but we transited through the stage to see an Enzo floating in the harbour tied to a boat.

Yeah the 3.7l is a great truck depending on what he wants to do with it. it's just that I need something with a little more power and 4wd. The tires I added though killed my gas mileage. And I would love to get a 2015 but the price will be higher and in the morning shift it talked about a 10% increase in insurance. ( pictures below of of my truck stock vs. now)

yeah I think the only thing that can truly compare in driving feel in modern cars is the Fiat 500 Abarth. (I know the Fiat is way faster tho)
But even the base model CRX with like 80hp was better than the base Fiat 500.

I've only had it for 2 months now, but it's in immaculate condition which is surprising considering it cost me only $8K. It started life in Florida (presumably a pensioner's car) before being sold CPO in the wealthy nation of Greenwich CT. The Carfax indicates that both previous owners were extremely diligent and punctual about maintenance and only brought it to dealerships for service/maintenance.
The timing belt will need to be changed now that it's approaching 110K miles (about $1000 repair at an independent garage), but I knew about that before buying the car.
I have yet to find a single fault with my A4. As for more long-term ownership, my dad DD'd a 2004 A4 3.0 V6 (6-speed manual). That car only went to the shop once for a faulty windshield wiper motor ($600ish repair). Otherwise, it was Toyota reliable over the 6 years he owned it. 2 years ago he bought a 2009 S8 which has been equally reliable.
From what I've heard, sportier Audi's typically have all the problems later on in life. Their early owners drive them harder. Brakes, suspension, gearboxes, etc wear more unevenly under that treatment, so something is always in need of replacement. Also, since the bigger engines are typically wedged deep into tiny engine bays, they are difficult and expensive to repair.
